Poor Lady.... and Bobo

Gah! Our poor dog.
We took her for shots on Saturday, and gah! she had an allergic reaction to it!
At first she was ok... but around like... 8-9pm she started kinda just lying there... (she took the shot around 4pm) my sister took a look at her and noticed that her lips or her mouth was a little swollen.

And at first she(my sister) was just... maybe its just me, but i was like, no, if you really think it could be the shot, call the veterinarian and ask if it could be a reaction. she wasn't going to but i finally convinced her and she called...
They Vet told her to bring her in.

So we did. and gah!! ;A; this is sad... while we were waiting, (it was like 10:30) a man came running into the vet holding his dog and in a shaking voice said that his dog was just attacked but a bull dog. But... wow.. .it was scary sad cuz... he  had blood all over his shirt, pants and hands. and when he handed his dog to the vet. assistant we saw that the dog was bleeding on its back and around its neck.

My sister and i were just kind of sitting here cuz well... we were just waiting but omg.. it was so sad, cuz as he was there shaking he told the vet. i'll be right back i have my other dog in the car, i don't know if she was attacked to but i'm gonna go get her. When he walked out me and my sister were just like.

;A;/ omg! poor dog! poor guy! that's crazy!!

And so he came back holding the other small dog in his hands. And while he went to sit down his phone rang, it was his wife and there he started telling her what happened. (and well yes we overheard cuz we were in the waiting room with Lady) He started telling her that he was just walking the dogs around the rose bushes like usual when that bull dog came running our of nowhere. and immediately the bulldog got Bobo (the injured dog) and no matter how much he punched and kicked the dog he wouldn't let Bobo go. It wan't until he stuck his hand into the dogs mouth that he was able to make him let Bobo go.

Which you could really tell... his hand was all bloody. but omg... i can just.. IMAGINE... i mean... this guy, his pants were all coved in grass stains on his knees and bum, and his shirt on his elbows and stomach. This guy though... he was a BIG guy. not in a muscular way, but.. he was heavy, and pretty tall. its shocking to imagine him fighting with this dog trying to make it let go of his little dog. poor guy....
Then he was telling her how to go get to the Vet. he finished giving her directions and he hung up. but its was so sad!! he's there telling his other small dog, that it would be ok. the doctor would fix Bobo up and everything would be ok. ;A; it almost made me cry!!....

During this wait, they finally took lady in, and as they did, he asked us what was wrong with her. and well, we told him that she was having an allergic reaction to the shots they gave her earlier in the day. and then that's when he told us his story. But yeah... He was just walking them in the same rose bushes that he always does in front of his.. condo. He said it wasn't a house. it was like a closed community, but he walked the dogs there every single day, and nothing had ever happened until that day. Then he told us, the most crazy thing was that the owner of that dog... was the mother of the lady that walks his two Dogs.

Man... that was like... WOW! that means this dog... had his eye on his two small dogs. He didn't just do it out of... randomness... he really went for them. he really attacked them!

ah...poor guy... poor Bobo. They finally brought Lady back and said yeah. she was having an allergic reaction. and good thing we had brought her in as soon as we had. they gave her a shot and then told us to wait as they gave us a prescription of antibiotics and steroids to avoid inflammation.

Oh! i forgot to mention though, the Vet. came out  and told him that Bobo had Two puncture wounds on both  sides of his neck, and was getting a hematoma at the back of his head where there was another wound. And said that they would have to take x-rays and blood work before they thought about operating because the dog was still in shock and if they just went in to surgery he could die. The man (which yes...we simply failed to get his name) just said he didn't care what they did so long as they saved Bobo's life. and money wasn't a factor cuz the lady who's dog attacked Bobo was going to pay for everything.

but yeah...  while we were waiting for the prescriptions for lady his Wife finally arrived. gah! i was trying so hard to look else where when she got there. cuz just like her husband, all she said was i don't care what you have to do just please save his life. eek! seriously... if i had made eye contact i think i would have cried. lol...

And so... they finally gave us the stuff, we wished the guy all the luck and hope that his dog would be ok... and we left.

I can't help but think though... if something like that were to ever happen to Lady.. i have no idea what I would do. Of course.. no one really knows what they will do or what they are capable of until they are put into that situation.
