Pin Clubs

Hiya!

Been a while! lol

Nothing much going on. Just wanted to vent a bit about pin clubs today. haha

I sort of recently got into them. Well, I got into the Kingdom Hearts pin club space. I've been collecting for a while but it was like, official merch from Disney parks or like, game release exclusives and ones I found at Anime cons. There is one creator that I am a really big fan of and have been trying so damn hard to buy / get in. 

Well, See, I was a part of her exclusive discord pin club once, but at the same time I got in, My mom had a slew of health problems and she was in and out of the hospital for like 2 or 3 months until she was stabilized. Obviously I wasn't checking in on discord or anything as everything was work, hospital, home. By the time It was calm enough to go back to playing around, I realized I had been kicked out for not buying any of the month exclusives and such. So it was cool, I was gonna just try to buy from any of the public releases but omg... it's legit impossible. 

So I've just been in a wave of frustration of not being able to buy anything from her again and being sad that it's so hard to get into her club. 

She just had her discord opened for a few slots at 2 and at 2:30... and it was a failure. I SWEAR I clicked on those damn links within 15/20 seconds and STILL it was so fast I didn't make it. lolll...

UGHHHHHH I'm just so mad and sad. I want some of her pins so bad. sigh... 

But I think this is it. 

Instead of doing this and being mad about not being lucky enough to get in I'll just stop following her and all pin clubs. I'll stick to just collecting pins I like from Anime Conventions like how I started. It's seriously just so frustrating. sigh... anyways, That's pin clubs for you I guess. It's the exclusivity that makes them so popular. It's just my bad luck of not being fast enough to get into discord servers or whatever. But I still just can't help being frustrated and mad, yanno? 

Anyway, that's all. Time to throw in the towel and take the hint I shouldn't be a part of the pin club space. I'll find something else to invest time and money into collecting. lol

Long Time No See~!

Hi All~

It's been a while since I last posted. I'm back in my lurker phase. lol

Don't have much to say really. I'm having a lot of personal life issues. Family drama basically. lol, who doesn't love that good 'ol family issues. 😒

Anyways, Still hoarding Yaoi and other BL merch like crazy. haha

Though, I've been holding back a lot as of late. There's so much stuff I've been wanting to get on Mercari. ughh!! so much good stuff! I did give in and buy a Pearl Boy acrylic, lol, but that's the only thing recently. And that was like... 2  months ago. 

but yeah, Just have manga coming in. heh

Oh, actually... sigh, IDK why, but I've also been buying random shit off of TEMU. haha! UGH! I don't know why I just buy shit I don't need or... really want. Just like how it looks and I buy it. I got a MDZS umbrella though! I have been wanting an anime umbrella for SO long. ugh! I tried getting a TGCF one and either I sold my kidney for the shipping on that one thing or I gave up. lol

Glad I did give it up cuz I found that MDZS umbrella on TEMU and it's actually an official product! So, I was extremally happy to have found that, and once I got that, I got a bunch of other stuff.... for some reason. loll... 

Yeah... I guess I'm a bit of a shopping addict? Maybe at the moment? IDK, Or impulse buys is the way I'm coping with the stress I'm currently under due to the aforementioned family stuff...? idk, Gonna still be silent for a while longer. Though like I've said before, I'm lurking. Still constantly on goodreads, twitter (forever will be twitter) and tiktok and stuff...

ANIME: Things about Jujutsu Kaisen...

I'm on my like 20th re-watch of my favorite episodes and of the series in general. lol, And there are more and more things that stand out. Like the fact that, The characters can't tell when Yuji has switched with Sukuna?!!! I thought they all saw the marks! But it appears that in the manga and in the anime, only Itadori and the 'viewers' can see Sukuna's marks!

That took me by surprise even though... it probably shouldn't have. lol

The second thing is, When Sukuna was offended by being in someone else's Domain Expansion. When he was pulled into Mahito's Domain he basically told the plebe to fuck off and never do it again. lol. Yet the first time Itadori is pulled into a Domain Expansion by Jogo **AKA** "Mt. Fuji head"/"Volcano Head"; when he's with Gojo and pulled into that Domain, there is silence? Why? Was it because Satoru was there? Why? It's probably a simple answer but it's a bit puzzling for sure. For me anyways.

Third, what did Yuji's granpa want to tell him before he died?

Somehow I feel... it actually explains a lot. or.. it WOULD explain a lot. Like why Itadori had such super human feats before he became a Jujutsu user. I'm starting to think he comes from a powerful family. If at least, only on one side.  Or... was it actually insignificant? 

Well, I don't know but for some reason I'm starting to feel it was a lot more important than we originally thought. Who are his parents? ... sigh.. I hope some of these answers come soon. 

Ahh~~ The best "puzzle" is why Sukuna is so obsessed with Fushiguro. Kufufu~ My inner Fujo is ecstatic and always adding a whole bunch of slash to it, I LOVE it, LOL~~ but... Because of Fushiguro's hidden power and that something "interesting" that is yet to be shown(?) Seems to be why Sukuna is obsessed. I eagerly await it's reveal. Along with what exactly that "pact" Sukuna made with Itadori, was about. What exactly does he need to do in one minute? Sigh.. I feel like the manga is hella dragging on right now. I wish it would progress faster but ~sigh~ it is what it is. 

Anyways, Just things I wanted to write down and put out there. Same things that are on discord or forums, I'm sure but I don't really frequent either so I'm just putting them out in the ether through this. lol... 

(Oh yes, sorry if I confused you. Itadori Yuji & Satoru Gojo are their full names. I went through calling them through both... lol)

ANIME: Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World

I finally got around to watching this anime. It aired for the Fall season 2020.

It's actually based off a Light Novel of the same name. 

It's so nice. I hesitated to watch it because after the initial PV, I was just sort of put off by the seemly hopeless story. It's basically a love story of star-crossed lovers. So, as per usual, I expected it to end as a tragedy. Which I was in no mood for. lol

Anyway, I just decided to put it on and Ah~ It's so sweet and has you rooting for the Main Characters, Iska and Alice. the animation is a little odd, but really amazing in the magic and fight scenes. 

Well, I've been watching it little, by little when I have time and am almost done with it now. I only have 4 episodes left but OMFG!! I am so frustrated with it right now because the "captain" is a fucking useless bitch. LOL 

She's so fucking useless I can't even stand it. 

She's always getting captured. Hasn't ever fought and is just in the fucking way. UGHAdlkfja;sdk! LMAO... GOD! I HATE characters like her. I really wish she would just die and let Iska get revenge later. loll... 

Anyways, overall I have been enjoying it. I hope it does end happily for Iska and Alice. I just want them together! ;A;/

Anime: Seirei Gensouki (Spirit Chronicles)

So I'm currently watching Seirei Gensouki (Spirit Chronicles) and although I do like the story so far and the animation is absolutely amazing, I feel it's going too slow. It picked up in the first 3 episodes and then, with 5 or 6 it just died down and is, I feel, really dragging. I'm sticking to it because I do like it overall. But like, it's currently at 8 episodes as of today. 

It's going to be over in 12... and we still don't have much more material than when we first started. It's really just about Rio traveling. Which again, it's nice and all. I just want more. I actually expected more from what appeared to be a fighting/magical anime. haha.

It is also a Light Novel and a Manga so I might just look those up and start reading them to get my fulfillment. lol

Like, I saw the LN before the anime came out and was interested but.. man, I'm reading so many I never got around to it. But now that I'm watching the anime and all I really have been tempted to start reading the light novel for sure! Because as per usual, it's most likely going to be 100% better and explain more and also probably not feel as draggy.

At the same time, a lot CAN happen in 4 more episodes so it might still end great and my being a bit bored with it won't matter by then. lol

 Lately I have been obsessed with light novels. They're the same as any fantasy or YA book with a few illustrations or two to give you a little visual on the characters and actions going on in the story. If you didn't already know. lol...

Anyways, SO many publishers have jumped full throttle onto the bandwagon and we now have plenty to look forward to!

I'll be going back and making a list of others I have my eye on, but these were recently announced or released by J-Novel Club & Yen Press/Yen On. 

I'm so excited for their release &/or to read them. Yay!

I can only hope more Yaoi/BL ones get picked up soon, but... for now, these are the ones that sounded interesting for me. Now I don't know which ones I'll actually buy... there are so many, I can't pick! haha~

The Three Deaths of Marisela Escobedo (Netflix Documentary)

Today I watched 'The Three Deaths of Marisela Escobedo' and man... like, I know mexico is corrupt As Fuck. Ciudad Juarez especially, but the things that occurred in that court room, really is a mockery of any sort of justice system. 

There are really no words. Everything else that happened afterwards was a cover up. For sure. We all know the narcos run almost all aspects of Mexico's political aspects or at least has a heavy influence over them. It's basically a fact. Of course there is no "proof" cuz all of the higher ups cover it up, but to watch this doc and see, clearly, how much was covered up and manipulated and who was silenced because they wouldn't give up on the truth or true justice was shocking.

Day 149 —

I'm still on... lock down? Well, not really. The little shops around me and other major stores are re-opening or have now accommodated Curbside pick-up which allows them to more or less, remote operate or whatever. So.. things are slowly going. My place of work will still be closed, most likely, until the End of the year or New Years. By that I mean, AFTER the New Year, actually. It's really sad and kinda scary to really realize that. To be honest, I don't want to go to work. I mean, I want to go to MY job. 

I really DON'T want to look for a new one in the mean time because there are just so many factors that are out of your control and I know in my place of work things will be way more different/safer because of my Union. Anyway, I do realize I need to get a temporary ... well, something, so that I can start getting some income into my home. 

As for what I've been up to... well.. Just been reading so much lately. Which is nice because with worrying about work and other life garbage situations, I read to forget and get away. For a second there, I wasn't enjoying it much. Just too much stress with my sister, whom I live with and also just with worrying over work really, my income and all. Mainly the shit with my sister and her misguided priorities, it was all becoming too much and I lost my joy for reading and for doing other things. It was a struggle to get out of that dark place of deepening depression. I didn't want to do anything. Just wanted to sleep the days away and was just getting so dark and I was hating on myself... it was scary to look back now and see in hindsight what I was feeling and thinking. Now I've found the joy again in things, like reading and video games and just loosing myself in random distractions. I'm happy to go out again and just walk my dog. It's nice. 

Day 88...? — What I've been doing this whole time.... Lots of Stuff

Interesting times, huh? Just reminiscing what has been going on and what I've done these past few months during quarantine. I've been playing pokemon go again. More frequently anyways. Even though I can't go out and do huge raids and do community day like we used to. It was fun being out with big groups and such but this new way is alright. Like... doing it from home. Definitely don't get that much or that many shinies but, eh... It's another thing to pass the time during quarantine. But alas. It looks like the world is starting to slowly go back into motion... 

Malls and most if not all stores are opening this week, all with restrictions, of course! Protocols they need to follow and such.. It's just weird. Really strange settling into this new normal. I honestly don't wanna go back to work yet, mainly because It's a theme park. Where people from ALL OVER THE WORLD come. So for me, that's kind of a scary thought. I don't want to open myself to this sickness. ~sigh~

I mean, they say all of us getting it is inevitable but, obviously, I'm scared what that might mean for me. I could die from it if exposed...

So yeah.. scary morbid thoughts on this. Happy it's almost over but scared because there is no turning back or running away from this what so ever.

As of right now I'm still being paid by work. Though now it's only 50% of my regular pay. It went from 100% to 80% in May and now to 50% in June. Honestly, I'm still grateful for that because as most know, not everyone is being taken care of by their employer like this. Since the moment we closed, we were paid our full pay. Then in May, around the 3rd I think it was, It was cut to 80% for all employee's. And It's only recently that they cut it because of the extended time in which the park as been closed. Which again, I'm not too mad about. I'm so grateful to even be getting that. 

So, my point in bringing this up, I have had a little bit more spending money since I don't have to waste on food and public transport SO.. I treated myself these!

To help keep myself sane through all this, I really got back into my video games. Especially the recently released Final Fantasy VII REMAKE. It's so fucking amazing!! Of course, there are people that hated it, purists, lol... that didn't like how they changed from the original but I honestly love it. It's REMAKE. Not REMASTERED. I love the original so much, so very much. It's tied into so much of what my childhood was but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate the new one. At it's core it's still the original story. So many lines were classic and exact it was so nostalgic and beautiful! lol

Also one cool thing that came out of this, I guess? Is that the Author Richelle Mead finally reappeared! LOL... I was a little concerned because she just vanished without a trace or word. Not that she needed to tell us readers anything really, but as she was in the middle of a book tour and then just... left-- I couldn't help but be concerned. I know she was a new mom and all that but most author's still post something you know? for almost 2 years she was just gone and there were so many fans that asked and asked but no one knew anything so, seeing all that I also grew concerned until May when she had a video chat. A live on FB I think it was... so now that I know she's just enjoying motherhood, I'm glad she's okay.

Other things I've done during this, was read. A LOT. I read so many manga, FINALLY!!! I feel, like because it was just, work, rest, sleep--work, rest, sleep, for these past few years that I never got to enjoy too much anymore. Especially since I take public transport, I was always just waiting or getting up extra early to get to work that i never felt I had time or energy to do anything but rest and sleep for the next day. So happy I got to rest as much as I did for this lock down. lol. Read lots of Manga, Yaoi, and just gay novels in general. 

Sadly one of my favorite hetero author's fell into a horror novel of her own. Her Husband and his mistress were poisoning her and tried to kill her. Also, the fucker is now suing her for her rights to all her books. I'm sure you know who I'm talking about. If not, It's Sherrilyn Kenyon. Now Sherrilyn McQueen. As she went back to her maiden name to try to escape a little something from the monster she married. He's trying to take away all of her babies, her books and characters and... man... it's just a sad story. I'm sure you can find the article somewhere. I'm not gonna get into it other than mentioning it like this...

I wish the best for her. Seriously hope she wins this lawsuit. It's so awful....

But yeah. That's all I did these past few months. Watched lots of crime stuff on YouTube and Documentaries on Netflix and HBO, watched lots of movies and shows. Read a lot of books and Manga. Played lots of video games.. I think I can look back on these days as a fond memory... I think. Aside from the Murder of George Floyd that is. Even though his Murder is recorded and all out with no arguments, with this corrupt justice system it's likely to give the white men that killed him a simple slap on the wrist as there is, once again, no real justice in the country anymore. 

I'm glad that his murder sparked a real movement and awareness. It's divided the country more but some people actually had their eyes opened to the brutality of police. Lots of change is needed and I think when history books look back on this point and time. It's going to be how this was the beginning of the end of the United States of America as we know it... or.. knew it. Shitface in the Oval Office has destroyed this great nation. This point in time when he called the Armed forces on her very citizens, it was the beginning of the end of this Country. I don't know if anyone can fix our relations with other countries ever again. It's a scary thought. Also to think where we will all be in 20 years from now. To see how much irreparable damage was dealt.

 Anyways, It's again, scary to think we're all going back to mingle with stupid idiots who don't care about the dangers to others and still won't cover their mouth when they sneeze or cough.. I just hope whomever gets covid-19 because of them survives. 

Lots of morbid thoughts. A little excitement, but mostly trepidation. 

Day 36? — & Final Fantasy VII: REMAKE

Totally lost on days.

I have to keep asking my sister what day it is. I know the number becasue of my phone but not the day. lol... Though I can just look that up too but it's odd not just KNOWING if it's Tuesday or whatever. When I was at work I would know obvs, but now I'm just... huh?! lol

Anyways, things are okay. Keeping sane thanks a MILLION to Square-Enix and having Final Fantasy VII: REMAKE to play. It is seriously a most amazing game. I am so fucking happy I have it to play. So glad I decided to pre-order it through Best Buy because I didn't have to wait and shit. I'm so sad for my friends that got it through Amazon cuz they got theirs so damn late. I got mine on the 9th! <3 Even a day before it's actual release date. lol

The game is fantastic!! The CGI is breathtaking and the voice acting is spectacular. I was so pissed that they had changed the original english voices but now, having played an all, I'm so god damn happy with it. They did us all proud.

Okay, so, overall 10/10

It was just too kick ass for me not to rate it with top scores. There are a few things that don't make sense (mainly at the end) and things I HATE to have to do. Like, different scenarios to unlock trophies and shit, but Overall. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.

I even said that it MAYBE surpassed my beloved Kingdom Hearst!
but honestly, no. lol... I said it cuz I was high off the ending and having just beat the game but nah. Now that I've stewed on it a bit. No. haha, Not in a bad way just... okay.. look, It's Nomura-san at the helm of this project. He's in charge of BOTH projects actually, that you can SEE his twisted mind at work. lmao
I say twisted cuz, when I said earlier that a few things don't make sense, especially at the end... it has his mind-fuckery all over it. lol...
We were once again hit with the Nomura-effect. I have no idea what he's going to do. He's totally going to change things.... just dunno what and afraid to find out!!
But again, it was so much fucking fun and all the CGI and voice acting and music, OMG the music!!---it was fantastic! So amazing!

I LOVE it.

Day 14 —

It's now the 14th day of this Stay at Home order that my state has in place. I'm really running out of things to do and to find to distract myself. lol

Also, frustrated with my sister because she keeps saying "I can't live my life like this" and goes out, who knows where, every single day and it's like, Do you really think you're the only one? So I'm frustrated with her and also trying to stay as far away from everything she touches because hell, for all I know, she's now already come into contact with the virus. 

But other than that, I've been watching lots of movies and shows. I got Disney+ for a week, the free trial, and actually finished everything I wanted to watch. lol. There isn't anything on there of real interest. Although I like Star Wars, the Mandalorian isn't enough to get me on there for more than that week. hahaha..

I've tried watching a few shows, new ones, but I don't know, maybe it's just the mood that is surrounding everyone but I just can't seem to get into anything new. But I have started re-watching Criminal Minds all the way from episode one. It's actually pretty interesting to see all the episodes I missed when it was airing on TV. OMG, I can't believe it's finally on it's final season. I figured it would cancel  shortly after they sacked the actor that played Aaron Hotchner. It's not that I didn't like Emily (the character) but I also had no interest with watching it without Hotch. Even if Morgan left, Hotch was my reason for watching it. So, again, sad it's finally over?? or soon going to be, but it's about time. 

Anyways, I've tried playing Pokemon Go too but since I can't really be out too long, just a stroll, I haven't really caught anything good. Two shinies! so maybe? lol... but yeah, I can't raid since that requires at least 7 or 10 people... sigh, It's really just, not fun anymore. haha. 

I've had a lot of time to think on things and sadly most thoughts go into negative. What with my sister being such a bitch (that from above is barley the start of the things she has done and said to me recently) I'm getting into a bad head space. Not being able to go to work and just out and being along with my thoughts most of the time, man, It's totally not good when home life is negative. Ughhh... Trying to get out of it but well, not much I can do. 

Well, Just going back to Criminal Minds, more anime and more gay novels... hopefully something will help me get out of this funk. Maybe I'll try writing again... I do have the time.. I wonder if my Muse will ever speak to me again...

ANIME REVIEW: Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution 1 (Movie)

I recently watched Eureka Seven: Hi-Evolution 1, the first reboot movie of the Eureka Series and honestly I don't think anyone that hasn't watch the original anime should watch this. A lot of it and I mean basically the entire thing, is centered around events that happened in the anime. Even if they do kind of go back in the past and talk about Renton's father it's not really...
Well it's not for anyone new, barely jumping in on it now. It's definitely for fans of the series. Now I'm a huge fan of the Eureka Seven Series. This is probably one of my top favorite Mecha series up there with Gundam Wing and like Gundam Seed Destiny.

Now, I'm conflicted because I was liking it at first, but it's a lot of recap and going back and forth over the time when he spends time with the Beams family. I don't know, It was good at the start because it was new material and you could even tell by the animation style that it was new material. It went deeper into what happened with Adroc (Renton's father) and Eureka, like how they escaped and why he did what he did. Now though, it's definitely a bunch of copy paste from the anime of Renton's time on The Swan and the Beams family (around episodes 22-25 in the anime).

None of the rest of it, except for the first like, 20 mins was new material. It's all stuff I've already seen in the series. I'm kind of sad because I really wanted to like it. I really do like the series but right now I'm just kind of like, "oh it's just recap". Legit, it's not even reanimation it's recycled, copy/paste of the series.
They repeated the same scene almost three times... not really clarifying what the point was. We already learned all of this. Renton's time with the Beams and why he left Gekko State and why he got Disillusioned with Gekko.

Thinking back on it, I'm so annoyed with it. I wanted to love it. I was liking it because it was a little bit different when it started but after it was the same as the episodes (22-25) of the series!! It didn't move forward from that at all. From the point of where he realized the Swan was after the Gekko to get Eureka. And then, why then, Renton also left the Swan to go back to the Gekko.

When I first heard about this movie, I was under the impression, like most anime movies, that it was going to be a bit of retelling (So like a repeat of the anime but different script/view) and then new material, but this is just literally the same episode repeated! Nothing was different from episodes 22-25 of the anime. The only thing that was different is the specific details of how Adroc created the first Summer of Love

I honestly don't know if I want to watch or buy Hi-Evolution 2 movie. I am so disappointed with this. Again, I was expecting something else like a retelling but like new animated version of what we learned, like the usually do and then some original/new content. Even the first movie that was like, trashed wasn't this bad. I believe it was called "Eureka Seven: Good Night, Sleep Tight, Young Lovers"

Man.. I'm so mad. I can't get over it because I just love this series so much! It's totally one of my go-to anime. I was expecting something way better than what they gave us. I had so much potential. With how much they advertised it and promoted it as new material and new view at this certain part of the series, man this was garbage.

As a fan, if you're a fan and reading this, doesn't it sound like it's something we've never seen before?!
So again, I did watch the trailer. I did know that he was going to be with the Beam's family, but it sounded and looked like it was going to be something new! But it's not! You can totally just find the anime and watch episodes 22-26 and you'd have watched the movie. The only thing that was new and different and well, cool, because it was interesting was watching Adroc and Eureka escape. Also how he came to be the "Hero" and how he was involved with the First Summer of Love.

Just.... ugh... I'm so very disappointed. Not at all what I was hoping for when I bought it. I mainly got it because I was like... "Eureka Seven?! Hell yeah! I freaking love this series! Of course I'm going to buy it!" lol.....
Honestly, I regret it. I definitely do not suggest you buy this unless you're a huge fan of the anime (even then, maybe not. I got it because I thought it was something new...). It's really not worth it. Truly a recycled material movie and a waste of money.

I'm going to leave a little bit of redemption space and give it the benefit of the doubt. I'm going to hope that the second movie is better and new material. I'm going to definitely wait to get all the reviews in for the 2nd movie.

Covid-19

So like just about the rest of the world, my state is basically locked down.
I'm not working for the next two weeks, thankfully, with pay so, so far no worries about that, just get to spend the next two weeks at home.... playing games and reading. LOL

Not going out cuz I'm a super homebody and this is like... paradise to my inner introvert. lol.

Anyways, Expect to see me a lot right now. Once this is over, it's back to just lurking and browsing.

Also, this is Day two of my official "lock down".
I have weekends off so, Sat & Sun don't count for me.  As of Monday this officially started for me. So... onward to day three... #scarytimes

DSP Debacle

I honestly never thought they would turn into one of the asshole publishers that they saved so many books from. They were there for Silver Publishing, Ellora's Cave and many other publishers that turned rancid on the inside and stole thousands from authors.

And now they become one of them.

I am just so very sad about that. I really am. I don't even know what to really say or feel other than feel so sad and betrayed by them. And that's just me as a READER I can't begin to imagine how the Author's published through them must feel. It's really just the worst thing to have happened to one of the, if not the real last giant MM Romance publisher.

One thing I have been really hating more than what they did is watching author's that have left berate and ridicule those that have decided to stay. What everyone does in this situation is their own business and reason. And they don't have to justify it to anyone but themselves.

So all those bitches out there that claim to be on all authors' side, how about you not shame those that stayed. okay?
Again, mind your business. You have no idea what was their reason for staying AND they don't need to tell anyone. It does NOT mean they're the only ones getting paid or made a deal or whatever, it was just a choice they felt was the best for them. So again, FUCK OFF.

Now... I don't think Dreamspinner Press will ever recover from this. Unless someone else takes management of this and they kick out Elizabeth North, I don't know if there will be a comeback. Even if there is a resurrection. No one will trust them again. Maybe it's something deeper and not Elizabeth North, but who knows... I'm only seeing what people are assuming and not what the real shit factor was.

In any case, it's indeed just a sad view to see. This publisher that saved homeless books from rotten publishers ultimately become one of the very same rotten apples.

Stuck in a genre ༼☯﹏☯༽

Well, first post of 2020 with a bit of a dilemma. lol...

I find that lately my taste in books has really changed.
Like, I've only been reading shifters and mpreg for a while now and although I LOVE it very, very much, I've been wanting to take a break and read something else but, I simply just can't seem to get out of it.
There are a few re-reads that are contemporary and I can easily fall back into those but when I try to read anything new, I just CAN'T seem to start it without getting bored.

I have such a huge list on my "To be read" pile on goodreads and I wanna knock some down! lol, but then, I also add more mpreg and... so... it's just an endless cycle! lol~~

Ugh, I mean, It's kinda frustrating but also, like I Love shifters and mpreg so... whatever? lol..
I don't know, I feel I need a break but also, I want to read so many more mpreg titles. Again, It's hard to describe. Very contradictory but I want a break from it. I wanna read something else but again, even when I try to read another, regular novel, I just can't seem to get into it. It doesn't pull me in at all. It's best to describe it as.. well, yeah, I just get too bored, set it aside and pick right up where I left off in the paranormal /mpreg novel I was reading. lol.

I guess I'm just going to have to force myself to stop a bit and at least go into a contemporary from a favorite author. Maybe I'll get back into Marie Sexton or Mary Calmes. They're such huge favorites maybe they can break me away. It's not that I'm bored or tired of mpreg and paranormal it's just.... I don't know....

I WANT to move on too... you know?

Authors that have vanished....

There have been some great and amazing authors that sadly, seemed to have vanished from the gay romance writing community.
All of which, I LOVED and sorely miss...

They have no internet presence or just any updates or any way to contact them. It's just...*sigh* Sad. I really wish, if they stopped writing, that they had said something instead of just leaving and letting us just wonder and worry if they're ok or if something happened to them. Which is what I think the majority of the time. That something happened and that's why they never showed their presence again.  I had just been wondering this lately because, I started re-reading a series from some of these vanished authors and can't help but think on it all over again. It's been YEARS for some... months for others...
Mostly.. YEARS without word...

I miss them and so, so wish that they're actually out there somewhere just.. under a different pen name that I didn't even know about. lol...

I'm currently trying to keep my MAL as up to date as possible.... but dude, It's so damn hard to because I've watched and read SO MUCH, I seriously can't even remember what I've completed since I was in middle school.

It's a lot. 

So little by little I add what I remember. sigh... 

...but it's such a drag cuz it's seriously so damn much. And my ratings, because it's been so long to fully remember, my ratings simply reflect what I vaguely recall feeling when I look at it. lol... 

It's the best I can do with the amount I've consumed.
