Oh man... this was a beautiful and mesmerizing epic tale. From start to finish, it was just so hard to put it down. (Damn work for making me do so!! lol... ) It's one of those that just stays with you days after you've put it down. Ugh, I haven't had a book hang over for a while now but man was this an amazing ride. Apollyon was adorable when Levi first came into the picture. His barely contained patience was hilarious! And Levi, such a precious, I couldn't wait to see where his mind wondered to. It was fascinating to be in his mind. lol...
Well, Even though for a HUGE moment there I really wanted Levi to make Apollyon pay and just feel pain, they were so perfect for each other. Haha... when it got down to the yummy sexy bits, I was glad that it was not only hot but hilarious. All thanks to Levi.
Also, Levi's sister is a really likable character. Often times, family comes across as really annoying but I'm glad she wasn't in that category. She really was a strong and solid character to the end.
There is so much packed into this one book, you'd thing it would be too much story in one go but everything was just so perfectly transitioned and revealed that even though some bits dragged just a page too long or so, once it moved on the next set of events, it just blew your mind and made you forget the lag.
I cried, I gasped and was so frustrated with all the characters. The sacrifices and the twists were unexpected for sure.
Seriously have some tissues ready when you're about 80% in. It gets so damn emotional towards the end. I really kind of wish that LC would do an extra where we see Apollyon's POV when Levi is... asleep. His feelings and his pain and his thoughts on what Levi did.
I also kinda wish we'd see a little of Apollyon's POV where their child is concerned. ahh! Just so much that I want to see that was left in the dark. It's not a in a bad way, and once you read it you'll understand what I mean, it's just that I'm greedy with this world now and want to know all that happened in-between. lol
In any case, don't hesitate to pick this up. You definitely won't regret it.
