This is the second book to "The Vampire's Omega"series by LC Davis.
Though it's not required to read the first book as so far they've been stand-alone stories. Still, I do recommend it because... well, Mpreg. LOL...

Anyways, on to my review!

In simple words, I loved it. lol

The story flowed seamlessly and Claude and Sven are easy characters to love. You meet Sven, an omega wolf, who has been away from his pack/family to attend college, much to the disappointment of his mother. Summoned due to a family emergency, while trying to avoid another set up by his overbearing mother, he comes across the one person he'd never thought he'd meet. His mate. Things get even more complicated however with the realization that his longed for mate, is a vampire.

Claude has served loyally and unwavering as second to his coven leader for a century. Growing weary for the first time when his leader pushes, almost threateningly, for him to find a suitable mate, regardless of the fact that Claude would rather wait for his true mate. He gets the surprise of his eternity when on a coven treaty talk, he catches a peek at the elusive omega son of their coven's adversary, Sven. In that instant he knows just who Sven is to him, and also, why he can never have him.

For a little while there I really thought they would face a more serious conflict with their leaders, but I'm glad to have been wrong. lol...
Really though, Sven's mother got on my nerves but I'm so happy with the way things went and how beautifully the story came together.
The sex was hot and the surprise pregnancy/the way that surprise was handled was perfect. I'm glad it wasn't this misunderstanding and non-communication nonsense. It was logical and just plain perfect.

If you're looking for a new mpreg series or just a simple one-shot mpreg story to read, definitely pick this one up. Again, It doesn't need to be read in order.
So far book one and two of this series are not connected. So you're totally free to just skip to this one and not be lost. lol..
